Liberty is part of an international steel manufacturing and trading group, established in the mid 1950s.  Group turnover exceeds 2 billion US$ per annum, with net assets in excess of US$300 million.

We are headquartered in London, employing over 2000 people in over 20 countries including UK, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, Yemen, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, China, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, and the USA.

With our service and distribution centres strategically located, we fulfil the steel/raw material requirements of our clients globally.  Current annual turnover in steel and raw materials exceeds 3 million mt. 

Our mission is to competitively and comprehensively facilitate procurement of our clients' requirements so that they can focus on their core activity of manufacturing and/or distributing steel.

We aim to provide innovative financial solutions to suppliers and clients using our expertise in trade finance, including prepayments, stock finance, post shipment finance and project finance.

We have a strong logistics function where we consolidate cargoes, operate vessels, actively manage freight market risks, and provide the best suited shipment alternatives tailored to each client's needs.

At any point of time we carry stock positions both at origin and in importing countries, enabling us to offer Just in Time delivery services to our clients.
 
We aim to draw on in-house strength from our own steel melt shops and rolling mills around the world.  Current production capacity is about 1 million mt which will reach 3 million mt by 2011, with projects in Nigeria, Morocco, Ghana, Sudan, Romania and India.
